Day 3196: A Special Edition of David Levithan's Every Day Short Story

A close-up photograph of a printed text excerpt from David Levithan's 2018 Valentine's Day note, where he explains his annual tradition of writing stories for friends, including a specific one featuring a character named 'A' at age eight, and his hope that readers enjoy it as much as he did writing it. The text is in a standard serif font on plain white paper, with the author's name and year at the bottom.
