Understanding cisgender identity.

A young boy with short brown hair, wearing a green shirt, looks down with a smug expression while standing in front of a basketball hoop. The overlaid text reads: 'Them: Cisgender is a made-up word! Me: All words are made up and this one is in the dictionary. Get with the times.' The boy's original subtitle, 'The future is now, old man,' is visible at the bottom. The image is from the movie 'The Sandlot' and is commonly used in memes to depict a dismissive, condescending attitude toward outdated perspectives.
