Congrats on Your Monkey Brain's Pattern Recognition Skills, Genius!

The image is a two-panel meme featuring a monkey looking blankly at the top and with its brain exposed and labeled 'Neuron activation' at the bottom. The right side of both panels shows a grayscale photo of a rocky, uneven surface, likely from a rover on Mars. In the bottom right panel, a red square is drawn around a section of the surface, and a Sharpie marker is shown pointing to the square, implying the monkey is 'activating' neurons to interpret the image as a square. The joke is that the monkey is mentally processing the image to recognize a shape, even though the surface is just rocks.
