Exploring the Latest from Medal News Magazine by Token Publishing

The image is a digitally altered magazine cover titled 'MEDAL NEWS' with the tagline 'For the history of heroes'. It features a photo of a war memorial and gravestones, overlaid with two medals and the large text 'WE WILL REMEMBER Casualties of the Somme'. The cover also includes a photo of a soldier and article teasers. The date 'NOVEMBER 2024' and price '£4.95' are visible. The joke is that the phrase 'We Will Remember' is a solemn war memorial slogan, but the article 'Casualties of the Somme' is paired with a footballing Dragoon Guard article, creating a darkly humorous contrast.
