Breaking News: The plane thought to be carrying Assad has reportedly crashed.

A screenshot of a Twitter thread from DD Geopolitics shows a flight tracking map with a flight path ending abruptly near Syria. The search bar for 'SYR9218' returns 'No live flights.' The thread includes tweets reporting the plane's departure from Damascus and an explosion in Al-Suwayri, west of Homs. The image visually juxtaposes the flight's last known path with the absence of live tracking data, implying the plane vanished.
