Introducing Herbert: The Legend

A close-up of a dark metal plaque mounted on a tiled sidewalk, describing Herbert Bayer's 1985 sculpture 'Articulated Wall'. The plaque details the artist's background, the sculpture's design intent, and its ownership by the Denver Art Museum. At the bottom, in bold, the text 'climbing on the sculpture is prohibited' is clearly visible. A circular, grid-patterned light fixture is visible in the upper left corner of the image. The shadow of a person holding a phone is cast across the plaque.
