The Fascinating Brumation of a Snapping Turtle

A top-down view shows a person's grey sneaker with black laces at the bottom of the frame, standing in shallow, clear water over a leafy, muddy bottom. A large, greyish turtle is visible swimming or floating just above the leaves. The water is speckled with numerous white circular bubbles. The person's foot is positioned near the turtle, suggesting proximity.
