What is the Rant meme?

Rant memes channel frustration: quitting jobs over 24/7 on-call, calling behavior 'revolting,' or mocking politicians. The 336 examples use blunt language with minimal setup.

How to make a Rant meme

  1. The Rant template is already loaded above.
  2. Type your top and bottom captions — the preview updates as you type.
  3. Drag either caption to position it, or use the sliders.
  4. Change the font, size, colour or outline to taste.
  5. Press Download meme to save it to your device.

Not sure what to caption? Recent Rant memes here include “I can't keep up with the chaos! Here's a glimpse of the p…”, “Dear Tax, Welcome to the Trash Dump”, “Does Anyone Have a Spare Damn to Lend?” and “Stupid behavior is just what it is, duh!”. Any of them can be loaded into the editor with one click.

Tips for a better Rant meme

Open with 'This is absolutely appalling!' for angry faces. For venting about work, specify the grievance like 'on call 24/7' to match sample specificity.

Is the Rant meme generator free?

Yes — it is free, runs entirely in your browser and needs no account. Your image is never uploaded unless you choose to save it to meme.am. Finished memes carry a small meme.am credit in the corner.

Can I swap a face onto a Rant meme?

Not with this editor — it adds captions on top of the image rather than changing the image itself. Replacing a face needs a separate tool, and which one depends on the format: a still, an animated GIF and a video clip each need different handling. Our guide to swapping faces on memes covers all three, along with what makes a swap look convincing.
